What is PEPPOL?

PEPPOL stands for Pan-European Public Procurement Online. It is a standard of electronic trading that all healthcare organisations such as the NHS and their suppliers use to trade with each other. It uses a standardised connection for ordering, invoice, credit note creation and the sharing of Advance Shipping Notifications (ASNs). Healthcare providers can access their entire supplier community via a single connection and suppliers are confident they are fully compliant with their customer’s needs.
